University Accessibility Planning - Removing Barriers

University Accessibility Planning

Accessibility Planning at Brock is a university-wide responsibility co-ordinated by our University Accessibility (AODA) Co-ordinator located within the Office of the Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President of Student Services.

We are moving forward to identify, prevent and remove barriers so you may study, work, or visit our University. You may read more about these initiatives in Access Brock, published twice a year.

The Brock University Accessibility Advisory Committee (BUAAC) — formerly the Brock Barrier Free Working Group — is the advisory committee to the University with respect to the purpose of the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001. Agendas and minutes of this committee are available on the committee’s web page.

Alternate formats of documents are available upon request.

Enacted in 2008 under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (Ontario Regulation 429/07) require that we establish policies, practices and procedures about how we provide our goods or services to persons with disabilities. This page will provide updates as we move forward to meet compliance.
